Andrew S. Tanenbaum to present work on MINIX 3

We are proud to announce that Andrew S. Tanenbaum, the author of MINIX, a free Unix-like operating system for teaching purposes, will be speaking at HITB Haxpo on the 28th of May at 1pm!

His session ‘MINIX 3: A Reliable and Secure Operating System‘ covers the work Mr. Tanenbaum has done creating a new multiserver operating system with only 15,000 lines in kernel and the rest of the operating system split up as a separate user-mode process.
